Do you have an office location?
At this time, we exclusively provide care in the comfort of your home. Our office is virtual only.
What is the age range of patients you will see?
Newborn to age 20
Do you take insurance?
We do not accept insurance, however, we accept both HSA and FSA cards as a form of payment. Please note that your ability to use your HSA is dependent on your specific account and their terms regarding out of network providers. You can also pay with any credit card or your checking account.
Do I still need health insurance if I have a concierge membership?
We recommend all patients have health insurance to provide coverage for routine preventative vaccines, catastrophic events, hospitalizations, medications, laboratory tests/imaging and visits to a pediatric specialist if needed.
How do I know if the concierge membership is right for me?
We understand committing to a yearly membership requires consideration. We offer an exclusive newborn care package for babies until 60 days of life and one-time sick visits in the comfort of your home to non-members. Try us out and see if we are a good fit. If you decide you want to take advantage of the full concierge membership, we are happy to upgrade you!
How do I know if I need a house call?
If you're unsure, book a virtual consultation and we can discuss your child's needs in detail to determine the best course of action. If a house call is needed, the virtual consult fee is waived.
Which conditions can you evaluate during an in-house sick visit?
Fevers lasting less than 5 days, sore throats, colds, asthma, allergies, croup, mouth sores, nausea/vomiting or diarrhea, ear pain, red eyes, skin rashes, urinary problems, constipation, nursemaid's elbow, simple skin lacerations repaired with skin adhesive, and more.
Which conditions require a higher level of care at an urgent care or emergency room?
Fever lasting more than 5 days, fever in a neonate younger than 60 days, severe asthma, dehydration requiring IV fluids, eye injuries, severe headaches, fainting/dizziness, severe stomach pains, inability to urinate, swallowed foreign bodies, possible broken bones, complex skin lacerations involving lips or young children that might need sedation, head injuries with vomiting or loss of consciousness.
What if my child needs prescription medication?
Prescriptions needed after a visit can be electronically sent to your preferred pharmacy. Some prescription medications may be available during the visit too.
How do I join the concierge membership?
Contact us and we'll schedule a virtual meet and greet with Dr. Alex. We can go over all of your questions in detail and see if we are a good fit for you and your family.
